Chip Clawson’s “Digital Integration into the Artistic Process” will be on view in the Jailhouse Gallery March 15-April 29. The exhibition includes pieces created in ceramics, bronze, vinyl, foam and layered hardboard. This project is supported by the Myrna Loy Grants to Artist, the Montana Arts Council and Wyatt Design.
Chip Clawson will give an Artist Talk beginning at 5:30pm, Wednesday March 15. The subject of the 30-minute presentation will be his work and 3D-modeling. Chip will speak in the screening room, giving a short description of the inspiration and processes involved in creating this show. It will also include a demonstration of how the artist has worked with Geoff Wyatt to use modeling programs in the creation of the art in this show. Afterwards there be a reception for the artist in the gallery where Chip will take questions and refreshments will be served.
